When company did not mean escaping loneliness.
It meant embracing yourself and letting people into your world.
When swinging by did not mean half hearted commitments.
It meant pure exhilaration.
Back to a time when hiding did not mean running away.
It meant excitement of what's to come.
When taking a dive did not mean plunging into the depths of set expectations.
It means jumping into an ocean of infinite possibilities.
When love did not mean checking off a list, putting on a show and making financial sense.
It meant a mixture of friendship, appreciation and joy.
When the end did not mean finality, resignation and regret.
It meant peacefulness and gladness from a life well had.
